Akai KS5500-BT Review: A Karaoke Machine for Your Living Room
The karaoke machine plays CDs, CDGs, CDRs and MP3s. It supports Bluetooth so you can stream music wirelessly. It also has an AUX input (or line in) which enables you to play music via an AUX cable.
Included with the machine, you get 2 microphones, antennas for AM and FM radio and a remote control.
On the front of the player is where the controls are. At the bottom is an aux input (line in), microphone inputs, a disc player and 2 USB ports which also can be used to play MP3 music files from.
There are many buttons and a big master volume control in the middle. You can adjust treble, bass, and balance. There’s an LCD display to show track information and frequency for tuning the radio.
On top is a cradle for a tablet which can be used to display song lyrics. It also has a thick and durable handle to make it easier to lift and carry around.
The included speakers are quite impressive. The total output power is 150W, and each speaker has a tweeter and a woofer. There are fancy light effects inside the speakers and around the main controls on the player, which creates a nice party vibe.

Basically, the Akai KS5500-BT is a new karaoke machine on the market that has many neat features and comes with two very good speakers. A perfect addition to the living room. Just connect it to a television or use a tablet and sing karaoke with good sound and cool light effects.
