The Acesonic DGX 213 is a karaoke player that looks like a dvd or blueray player. It will fit well together with your home entertainment system and has a remote control which makes this a more practical karaoke player than the alternatives.

Perhaps the biggest selling point fro this machine, is the ability to rip your favorite and expensive karaoke CD+Gs and convert them to MP3Gs which you can save on a USB or SD card. Instead of tearing down your expensive karaoke CD+Gs with frequent use, you can play the MP3Gs and have the same karaoke experience.

Other nice features on the DGX 213 is that it has several options for video output. You can play high definition video on your television through the HDMI port, or you can choose some of the other alternatives for varying quality, such as composite video, component video, S-video and VGA. If you CD+G that supports another video standard than the standard in your country, whether it is PAL or NTSC, you can easily play them by switching between the player’s mode by using the P/N button on your remote control.

          Features:

          • Record-to-MP3G (USB or SD card)
          • Video output: HDMI, Composite, Component , S-video,
          • VGA
          • Key control
          • Remote control
          • Convert CD+G discs into MP3+G
          • Dimensions: 17 x 9 x 3 inches
          • Weight: 6 pounds

Since this karaoke player does not have a display or speakers included in the machine, it may not be the best choice for young children who want to learn to sing. But for adults, it seems to be a very good choice if you already have a home entertainment system. Simply connect it to a television and a powerful sound system and you’re all good to have a fun night of singing or to thow a big karaoke party.
